Over the past 20 years, Joy Stuhr, though originally from Wisconsin, USA, has been living and performing as a professional musician and teacher around the globe from NYC to Berlin, China and now in the Netherlands. As a classically-trained pianist as well as cellist, her creative sound combines a classical influence while also reflecting various cultural influences from jazz to world music, creating a unique experience for the listener.
Music with Joy helps children and adults discover the creativity, confidence, and connection that music can bring. Through personalized piano, cello, guitar, and singing lessons — available in person or online — students experience a warm and encouraging environment where learning feels natural, inspiring, and meaningful.
